Poetrylist is always excited to receive submissions from writers both established and unknown; thusly, submissions are read year-round.  A link to the online submission form is located at the bottom of this page.  Before submitting, please give a few moments of perusal to the submission guidelines. 

Previously published works are accepted “on occasion.”

What Poetrylist Promises

You may expect a response within one month of submission, however, as submission volumes vary, please do not inquire about your submission’s status until after three months.

Poetrylist pays one contributor's copy as well as one silly dollar.

What is Required of You

Make certain your submissions are free of grammatical and spelling discrepancies; if errors are intentional, please specify them as such.

Please supply a brief bio. and a list (if applicable) of previous publications.

Upon submitting, you agree to the following: that all works submitted are of your own, original creation, and that Poetrylist has your permission to maintain first-time and archival publication rights.

Advice

It is advised that you view the most current issue of the journal before submitting to acquaint yourself with the editors’ preferences.

Also, it is advised that you experiment with featured themes and forms and try submitting works of more than one genre.
